Medicine
The character with this ability can treat most injuries and diseases, based on her expertise level, as follows:
- cuts, bruises, strains, benign diseases
- deep cuts, fractures, light burns
- serious burns, poisons, serious diseases
- curses and other powerful afflictions
Someone being treated by a character with medicine will recuperate at twice her normal rate.
Special equipment is often required for this ability, such as prepared bandages, ointments, etc.
If used in combination with Herbalism, effects of healing plants are doubled.
