Traits
Classes define a player character's (PC's) primary role, including combat style, magical abilities, and Experience Unit (XU) allocation. Classes provide structured guidance for progression while allowing customization through XU distribution.
Classes grant starting bonuses to Health Points (HP), Magic Points (MP), fighting techniques, spells, and XU allocation. They also determine prerequisites for advanced abilities and talents.
Each class belongs to a Class Tier based on character level:
- Basic Classes (Levels 1–7) – Core archetypes introducing the PC's role and primary abilities. Minimal trait requirements.
- Advanced Classes (Levels 8–19) – Specializations expanding on a basic class, with specific trait thresholds and class-defining abilities.
- Elite Classes (Levels 20+) – High-level specializations granting signature abilities and representing the pinnacle of a class's theme.
Class selection influences the PC’s role, available abilities, and long-term development. Trait prerequisites must be met to select a class, and progression through tiers requires reaching the appropriate level.
